Bear Claw Contracting has recently commenced works at RAAF Base Tindal, including mobilisation to site, demolition of existing pavements, excavation for stormwater and underground services, and preparation of subbase layers. Initial activities involve clearing and grubbing, removal of existing materials, construction of access roads, and early drainage works. All works are being carried out in accordance with project specifications, environmental management plans, and strict safety and quality requirements. The Darwin Pipeline Duplication (DPD) project involves duplicating the existing gas pipeline that transports natural gas from offshore fields to the Darwin Liquefied Natural Gas (DLNG) facility. Bear Claw Contracting has been engaged to deliver all concrete works for the DPD project. This scope includes detailed excavation, supply and placement of concrete, installation of reinforcing steel, and associated quality inspections. Key concrete structures include bus shelter foundations, walls up to ground level, precast concrete lids, inline fuel gas slabs, beach valve shelter slabs, V-drains, and the Pig Receiver Area structures, including pipe racks, sump slabs, precast footings, and precast roof structures. Bear Claw Contracting’s works are being completed in full compliance with all project specifications and strict quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Bear Claw Contracting has been engaged to deliver full concrete, reinforcement (reo), and formwork services for the construction of the LIA 2 Building, LIA 3 Building, and the Covered Carport Area. Our scope includes the supply of all labour, materials, equipment, and supervision required to complete the works, including detailing, installation, testing, and quality assurance. All activities are being carried out in line with project specifications, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
